Comedy, made in Manchester by people who know how.

Founded by the producer and director behind Gavin & Stacey, Miranda and Small Prophets.

Who we are

Blue House are a Manchester based producer of scripted comedy. We have made shows, both single and multi-camera, for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and many US networks over the last three decades.

We grew up in the North, worked away for years but are now back making shows in the place that shaped us; nurturing the next generation of writers, directors and creative talent.

It's a six-part comedy created, written and directed by Mackenzie, produced by Gill Isles, with Christine Gernon and Emma Strain as Executive Producers for Blue House.
